About Mobile Outreach:
Mobile Outreach program focuses heavily on providing medical treatment and navigation services to adults residing in Calhoun County who would otherwise likely forgo care because they are unable to visit a medical facility due to lack of public transportation, inability to travel, lack of a vehicle, lack of English proficiency, lack the knowledge of the services that can be provided, or even homelessness making daily survival a priority.
The key to Mobile Outreach is the combination of services delivered on-site in the clients’ own “community” that allows and enables comprehensive health care to take place. The intent is to provide same-day care when needed, but also to connect patients to a larger set of resources which provide for better long-term outcomes.
Mobile Outreach is available at various locations throughout Calhoun County providing basic health advocacy and referral services, as well as treatment for basic illnesses and injuries such as:
